Virus Issues!!!!!

    I tired to reinstall Wind XP as advised by a dell tech. After I insert the Operating System CD. It tells me that it cannot detect my hard drive. Any advise please :mad:

    First of all check your Hard Drive has been detected on BIOS. If you cant able to detect on BIOS check the cables for hard drive ( Either it IDE or SATA)

    Otherwise the hard drive is detected on BIOS and the hard drive is SATA, first you may be install the third party driver for SATA Raid driver.

    And try this one put the hard disk into another PC and Backup all of your files and delete the partitions then try to install XP on your machine.
