Virus on dual hard drives?

    If I have two hard drives running two separate operating systems . If I
    get a virus on one will it automatically infect the other

    No, NOT automatically, but yes it can infect the other drive.

    Generally, viruses aren't about infecting harddrives, but infecting windows installations. So its not a bad idea to keep some sensitive/important data on a separate harddrive so if the windows installation gets corrupted you can atleast recover your data.
