My father recently received an email from someone he knew telling him that she had inadvertently infected his computer with a virus. The email inlcuded instructions on how to supposedly get rid of the virus; they involved basically deleting a file with a .exe extension, represented by a teddy bear icon in the program files. My father followed the instructions and deleted the file. I don't think this was a real virus, was it? If not, how can he undo what he did? He has a Windows 2000 system. Thanks!
