I was on a website and my NAV came up with a virus warning. It said it was unable to repair. I quickly went to TrendMicro to scan my computer and it did NOT find any virus. I then opened my NAV and rescanned and found 1 virus. All the information I have is that it is a Trojan Horse and it gave me the information as to where it was located. This is what it reads "The compressed file VerifierBug.class within C:\Documents and Settings\Parris\JPI_CA~1\jar\1.0\counter-jar-7 bbcacd9-5d354340.zip is infected with the Trojan Horse virus" Not sure whey Housecall TrendMicro did not find it or classify it as a virus but NAV does. Although NAV could not repair or quarantine or delete it, I went to the folder and deleted it from my hard drive. Is this a virus or not? Should I remove it? Is there anything else I should do to make sure that the virus has not infected anything else on my computer? Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Go to http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/ and download HiJackThis. Use Winzip to unzip it, then install and run it. To run, click the “Scan” button. When it's done the "Scan" button changes to "Save Log". Save the log file it creates (it should open in Notepad at that point). Copy and paste the results in your next post. IF you happen to be using a proxy server, please mention it in your post. Most of what it finds is harmless, so do not do anything yet. Someone will be glad to help you sort out any of the baddies that may be in there.
