    What Alternatives are there to not using Virus Scanners ?? can some help me :confused:

    Why on earth would you NOT want to use a virus protector??
    Theres some really good ones that are free..

    There aren't any alternatives to virus scanners. Get one now.

    There are things to get/do IN ADDITION to virus scanners. Install all security updates for Windows and your browser. Install fire wall software. Never open any e-mail attachments unless you specifically asked for them or were specifically told they were being sent. Turn off the preview pane in Outlook Express (if you use it), or don't use Outlook Express at all.

    and this little proggy is also very usefull....... www.moosoft.com "the cleaner"....the only alternative to virus scanners is to turn of your box and dont turn it on again.
