My husband's computer is suddenly popping up unwanted window's. Right now there is a box on the bottom tray saying System performance monitor: Warning and wants you to click on it to download something. He has a bunch of new stuff on it now such as Virus Ranger, Online Security Guide, Security Troubleshooter, AntiVir Gear 3. I'm not sure if those things are legit or not. We do use Avira AntiVir.

He said that he wasn't able to go to any other web pages but what it was directing him to.

Ok, I guess I have to help myself here so I downloaded AVG and Spybot and ran those two. Spybot found 38 problems so I deleted those. I deleted Avira AntiVir as well.

I wish someone could help me see if I got everything or there's something else I need to do??
