My g/f has been infected with a lot of spyware - (alchem, bargain buddy, wildtangent, webrebates) and some viruses - (winupdt, winka, msbb, wupdt aka backdoor.imiserv)

Norton Anti-Virus found 60 threats or more, but wouldn't let her delete any

Ran CWShredder, AdAware, SpyBot Search & Destory
    Found lots and removed them

Rescanned with Norton's, found 0 infected files but 58 'at risk' files
Can't delete them, says deletion failed

One of the paths was C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\alchem.cab

Here is her Hijack This log
Anything we can do here? Any to Fix?

It did not look too bad. Close all your browser windows. Only running hijack this, put a check mark next to each of the above. Select fix and let hijack this take care of the problems. Then reboot, run hijack this and post the new log...doc

Okay I told her to Fix those from her Hijack This log

    ---------------------------------------------------------
    Here's the latest info:
    Panda Scan results:

Panda Active Scan could not disinfect the following viruses.
They all occurred in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp...

    ...twaintec.cab[polall1m.exe]
    ...THI6191.tmp\polall1r.cab[polall1r.exe]
    ...THI608B.tmp\polall1r.cab[polall1r.exe]
    ...THI4556.tmp\polall1r.cab[polall1r.exe]
    ...THI36F7.tmp\polall1r.cab[polall1r.exe]
    ...THI32A3.tmp\twaintec.cab[polall1m.exe]
    ...THI31E7.tmp\polall1r.cab[polall1r.exe]
    ...THI1C4D.tmp\polall1r.cab[polall1r.exe]

It is the Downloader. GK Trojan

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

Housecall found 8 uncleanable files but gave the option and recomendation to delete them. At least 2 of them were the ones Panda found. It gave the option to delete them and it gave a message saying it couldn't delete just that file and did I want to remove the whole folder. Already backed almost everything up, so said yes and it deleted all 8 files and their folders.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    Now running Norton's again...
Will post a new Hijack log as well a.s.a.p.

Thanks for the help so far
Any other things needed to be done?

    Restart to safe mode.

How to start your computer in safe mode

Because XP will not always show you hidden files and folders by default, Go to Start > Search and under "More advanced search options".
Make sure there is a check by "Search System Folders" and "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search system subfolders"

Next click on My Computer. Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and "Hide extensions for known file types" . Now click "Apply to all folders"
    Click "Apply" then "OK"

Now find and delete these files:

    C:\WINDOWS\Key2.txt
    C:\WINDOWS\mlwhgnix.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\SETC9.tmp
    C:\WINDOWS\UnstSA2.exe

Also in safe mode navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder. Do the same with the C:\Temp folder.

Go to Start > Run and type %temp% in the Run box. The Temp folder will open. Click Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Finally go to Control Panel > Internet Options. On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files". Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK. Click on the Programs tab then click the "Reset Web Settings" button. Click Apply then OK.
