wife had to have vista, so the problems begin. She got a new computer with vista on it, downloaded the latest live messenger and we got the fallowing:
"messenger has stopped working.. check for online solution." when you click on the link it just closes and dose nothing.
I been the MSN forums and tried a few things listed but nothing seems to work. Has any one seen this, any ideas on how to correct it?

    Thanks

Just a thought, try manually allowing messenger access through the Vista firewall:

. Open Windows Firewall by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Security, and then clicking Windows Firewall.

    2. In the left pane, click Allow a program through Windows Firewall. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    3. Select the check box next to the program you want to allow, and then click OK.
