    Welcome to TSG!:D

I see you have been waiting for awhile, but please don't report the post as first resort. Instead, just post a reply with the word *bump* in it and it will move your post back up.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH

dvk01 step 1 works PERFECTLY!!! that anti malware detected about 22 malwares and trojan that my PAID mcafee didn't see. How ever I am having some new issue... I believe i deleted some stuff earlier when i installed and used HijackThis... my sound doesn't work anymore... whenever i open "sound" in control panel it says windows cannot find C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe and also the 22 malwares that was quarantined with antimalware... do i need to delete those? Below is the anti malware log and new HijackThis log.

looks like a few problems there still & something & it looks like MBAM seems to have deleted rundll32.exe

BUT windows file protection should replace that one on reboot

before we go any further go to start/run & type sfc /scannow that will scan for & replace any vital system files that are missing or damaged , make sure you have your vista dvd ready as it might ask for it

let me know how you get on

there is no run application in vista...
but the search box at the bottom of the start menu acts like a run application i guess. But when i type it in a black box appears but closes down right away... i already put my vista cd in the cd-rom...

hey.. i got the sfc work but it says... Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.log

I went to check the file out... and it was huge .txt file... about 45mb and i can't access it.. is says Access Denied... I don't know why but there is only one user on my machine and that is me and as admin ofcourse.

Also i guess the scf did fix something, because before i ran the sfc scannow and when i go to control panel and click onto the "Sounds" icon i couldn't open it with the error windows cannot find C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe

But, now I can open it.. but then again still no sounds... i tried unplugging the cable of my 5.1 speakers and try it out on my laptop and it works just fine.. but when i tried plugging it back to my vista desktop it wasn't detected as a speaker hardware... instead it was detected as a Microphone...

    What should i do now?

you will have to reinstall the hardware

It's best to let Windows install drivers for your hardware automatically. You should avoid manually updating a driver unless Windows is unable to find a driver for one of your devices but you were able to obtain one some other way, or if technical support personnel ask you to install drivers from a disc or from the device manufacturer's website. If you decide to manually update a driver, here's how:

You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.
    1.

Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.* Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2.

In Device Manager, locate the device you want to update, and then double-click the device name.
    3.

Click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver and follow the instructions.

if that doesn't work then select uninstall device, reboot & let windows redetect it & install it again

it sounds like the sound card drivers are corrupted or not being recogniozed

ok Now lets see if we can clear up any more malware

Download ComboFix from Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    1. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

    • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results"
    • Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.
    • Remember to re enable the protection again afterwards before connecting to the net
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    2. Close any open browsers and make sure you are disconnected from the net. Unplug the cable if need be before running combofix.
    • WARNING: IF you have not already done so Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet when it starts
    • Please do not re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
    • If there is no internet connection when Combofix has completely finished then restart your computer to restore back the connections.
Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a report for you.
Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review

****Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall or freeze ****

Note: ComboFix may reset a number of Internet Explorer's settings, including making it the default browser.
Note: Combofix prevents autorun of ALL CDs, floppies and USB devices to assist with malware removal & increase security. If this is an issue or makes it difficult for you -- please tell us when you reply
