I first encountered the Vista Home Security 2012 on Sunday, December 18th, 2011.
I did everything that http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-vista-internet-security-2012 said to do. Then after when the virus was supposedly gone I could not connect to the internet so I did a Systems Restore. That fixed the internet problem. 2 days later the virus came back. And I did the same exact thing as last time. Then yesterday on the 23rd the virus came back for a third time.
I did everything that bleepingcomputer told me to do again. But this time when my computer restarted my internet connected fine.
Just now my computer contracted the virus for a fourth time. But when I used MBAM and scanned my computer this time it showed up that there wasn't any infections in my computer. Now, I'm worried. Every single time it seems easier for me to get my computer back to normal which makes me think that the virus is somehow still in computer, or why else would it come back every two days or so? Is there something I am doing wrong?
