Vista revert to Windows 2000 pro

    My problem is I would like to know what is the way to uninstall Vista and revert to Windows 2000 pro. I really hope someone out there can tell me the steps. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

    No ( I have had very little luck uninstalling an operating system would suggest backing up your data and re-installing 2000 clean

    The fact is that you can't uninstall Vista. You have to format the hard drive and then install Windows 2000. Unless you upgrade from one operating system to another, you can't uninstall an operating system. There's no such operation.

    Use vista installation disk to format the drive it is installed on.
    Then installed 2000.

    Vista is a million times better than 2000 though.....

    Safer would be a Windows 98 boot disk boot to fdisk and then delete the non dos partition...then boot to 2000 cd and partition and format there.
