i just installed kubuntu x64 on my laptop but i like to use vista for some stuff still, it runs chkdsk everytime i boot now, i dont let it do anything incase it messes up the MBR(vistas MBR thing is weird compared to XP if i remember, cos it took my 8 hours to repair one time)
anyway how can i stop this from starting when i boot vista from the bootlist?

Let check disk run, it fix's things like orphaned files, missing index's and security descriptors. It will go afterwards :D
