Vista - Windows Mail

    I went to gmail for about six months then switched back to windows mail... was able to import all contacts into "windows contacts" folder but... when I open the folder there are no "Add Contact" or "Add Group" buttons on the tool bar... can anyone help me with this problem? ...can I repair windows mail somehow???

    Yave you tried going through "File" : "New" : "Contacts"

    ...still no buttons for "new contact" or "new group" on the windows "contacts" toolbar.

    Stumbled on the fix... the folder needed to be set to contacts type template.
