Vista with No sound

    after unplugging PC from mains suply and then plugging back in, i seem to have lost all sound. I have a basic E-system thats running Windows Vista. Any idea's how to get sound back? Thanx.:)

    E-system is the name on the front of the tower :)

    have you checked the sound cables havent been knocked out/placed in wrong socket? Is worth a look.

    Also check you havent muted ect & see if Sound card/device is in device manager.

    i have checked all cables are in correctly, had realtek coming through ok bot nothing else. thanx 4 your help though.:)

    is you speakers plugged in :) I have done that a few times
