    Hello,
I have a machine running win 95 and IE5, when connecting to the net it often comes up with a message about "visual basic scripting support" and wont read the page. It tries to download the file but does not, asking to look on the net or CD. It wont download from the net and Win 95 is on floppy. Could I possibly get the file from another copy of win 95 on compact disk. Suggestions?
    Thanks

Try going to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and get all the Critical Updates and Recommended updates. You can also try changing the Security settings for your Browser in Internet Options.

Yeah! Unfortunately going to the microsoft update site just brings about the message . I shall reply with the exact message as soon as time permits. The computer asks to install "visual basic scripting support", files start transfering and then it asks for a Win 95 disk or internet download location. I can acess a W95 disk but this machine is loaded from floppies, and would that fix the prob anyway.
    Thanks
