When I try to open volume control I get this error:

There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware.
    This program will now close.

    Any help?
    Thanks!

Sounds as though you have the wrong sound drivers installed or a corrupt Window file. What operating system? What kind of computer? Have you checked the Device Manager for problems? More info you can provide about your system and the type of sound you have installed will help.

    Sorry
I have an XP, I just formated, and I checked with the device manager and all the drivers are installed. No question/exclamation marks besides them.
