Volume control On Windows Me

    I have been all over looking for help on this matter but got nowhere fast.
    The volume control on my keyboard Compaq 5000 Presario stop working.I have tryed the patch's i have tryed reinstalling the drive. But still have the trouble.Compaq web sight is a night mare to try and fine help so here i am. If any changes that you can help i would be more then thankfull..

    You may need to reinstall the keyboard drivers, or the volume knob just quit working for some reason.

    Why don't you just use the slider in the Volume Control panel? Just right-click the yellow speaker in the taskbar, then move the slider up or down to control the volume.
