    Hi there,

    i'm having quite some problems setting up the VPN connections (both client to gateway and gateway to gateway) of the NETGEAR FVS318.

    In front of the Netgear fvs318 i have a speedtouch 510v4 in a bridge mode, so the fvs318 has a WAN IP.

    Regarding the client-to-gateway connection using the Netgear Prosafe VPN client these are the logs when i try to connect:

    2-01: 13:25:32.953 My Connections\ltest - Initiating IKE Phase 1 (IP ADDR=82.xxx.xxx.xxx)
    2-01: 13:25:32.953 My Connections\ltest - SENDING>>>> ISAKMP OAK MM (SA, VID 2x)
    2-01: 13:25:33.015 My Connections\ltest - RECEIVED<<< ISAKMP OAK INFO (NOTIFY:NO_PROPOSAL_CHOSEN)
    2-01: 13:25:33.015 My Connections\ltest - Discarding IKE SA negotiation

    The logs on the FVS318 side are the following:

    [2007-02-01 05:25:32][==== IKE PHASE 1(from 213.xxx.xxx.xxx) START (responder) ====]
    [2007-02-01 05:25:32]**** RECEIVED FIRST MESSAGE OF MAIN MODE ****
    [2007-02-01 05:25:32]<POLICY: > PAYLOADS: SA,PROP,TRANS,VID,VID
    [2007-02-01 05:25:32]SENDING NOTIFY MSG:
    [2007-02-01 05:25:32]NO_PROPOSAL_CHOSEN
    [2007-02-01 05:25:32]**** SENT OUT INFORMATIONAL EXCHANGE MESSAGE ****
    [2007-02-01 05:25:32]<POLICY: > PAYLOADS: NOTIFY

    I've tried to follow the instructions on the Netgear manual to set up a client to gateway connection but aparently with no great luck.

    Does anyone has a clue about what is hapenning here?

    Thanks in advance

    Miguel Carvalho
