For about a week now I've been trying to set up a VPN for my home network. I've tried many different ways to do it including the built in Vista and XP VPN and even setting up a virtual Ubuntu server. When I try connecting to the VPN from my iPod I get an error message saying "The PPTP-VPN server did not respond. Try reconnecting. If the problem continues, verify your settings and contact your Administrator." I have attached (I hope) a picture of my network topology. Unfortunately my router isn't able to act as a VPN server so I can't do that. Also when I try to connect to the VPN I'm doing it from inside my home network, not sure that that affects anything tough.
