Question on behalf of a friend of mine.
He uses Windows 98 se... he says he had an option during shutdown for standy by...
When I went to his house to check it out for him and hit start /shutdown.. there was only three options
log off/restart/shutdown.

he said he used to have standy by as an option and he used to use it all the time.
Well I don't want to disappoint the OL timer, I sure would like to set his options to have standy by back for him.
Any ideas...

A big thanks in advance for any help...

A computer will tend to run better and have less problems with its power management options disabled.

You might consider reading my article on how to disable power management.

I will indeed read your link about power management.
My friend really wants his to run on stand by.

I am not here to convince others what is best I best leave that up to the professionals :D
