I have two computers on my network. One is a laptop. The other is a desktop with a network card and wake on lan. I would like to wake my desktop up from my laptop. Both have windows xp one has home and one has pro. Pro is on the desktop. I understand a packet has to be sent. How do I do this?

    Thank you.
Does this tell me how to make the packet to send?
I glanced over it and didn't see it.

I did a search on "wake on lan" on google and looked at only a couple of pages, there is a lot to search through.
