    Hello:
I am not sure if I have posted this in the correct segment. Anyway, during startup, the wallpaper I removed is still displayed. Once startup is complete, the new wallpaper is then displayed. How do I get rid of the Wallpaper that I aready removed. This sounds like an oxy-moron..any help would be much appreaciated.

    Cheers

My guess is that the older wallpaper is set as background so try right clicking your pic you used for your current wallpaper and select background..

are you using active desktop? if so, right click on the desktop>active and uncheck the wallpaper. that will just leave the background then you can set whatever wallpaper you want.
