I dial into AOL when I play my online games, but i get dissconnected in the middle of them after several hours. The games run in full screen mode and I am unale to see any idle messages while i am logged on. Is there either a trick to getting around AOL's pesky auto disconnect, or is there some kind of program that can kep the line open. I would think that my connection is sending data as i play, but AOL doesn't recognize it and still boots me. Very annoying, please help.

If you have MSN Messenger installed you can try this. Open Outlook Express. On the toolbar go to:
Tools>options>Check for new messages every 5 minutes.

I know you cannot use OE for AOL mail, but you can open a hotmail account and import it to OE. To import a hotmail account go to tools>Accounts>add >Mail

The wizard will guide you through the rest of the process.
