Been looking at a Canon Powershot A540 from Tiger Direct for $169.97 and would like you guy's opinion of this camera before I make a big expencive mistake. I don't know much about cameras in general but have been using a Kodak dig. for several years now and realize that there are many better cameras available that are easier to opperate. Mostly wondering if this camera will be compatable with Vista Home Premium and my Canon printer. I suppose it will but really need to be sure before I jump in there and puchase something I can't use after I upgrade my opperating system soon. Are they relatively easy for a person to figure out and use? Thanks!

You will find the Canon A520 very easy to use and it will take good shots for a P & S camera. What you won't like about it is the delay to write to the card and recharge when using the flash. See this thread.............

You can also go here for reviews on that one as well as just about any other.....

I'm no expert but I can't see it having a problem with Vista or your printer especially when you consider there are many ways to print without doing it directly from the camera.
