Hello All,
Happy Holidays!
Trying to help my father-in-law the day after Christmas.
He gets a WAOL dialog box which he cannot exit from after exiting AOL 7.0.
He has to unplug laptop and remove battery to turn off the PC.
Found similar cases here, so here's the Hijack-This log:

Hi Pierre :)

The log looks OK. I have made some observations though.

AVG 6 is outdated (but you can update it to AVG 7.1 another time).

How much RAM does this system have?

I had once installed AOL 7.0 on my 98 system and it didn't work well at all.

Have you tried reinstalling the AOL software?

The system has only 64 MB RAM, so probably not much potential for upgrading to a higher version of AOL. Not sure if he still has the AOL CD. AOL probably mailed out about 200 million of them!!!
Where's a good place to look for AVG 7.1?
Thank you.
