Warcraft 3:frozen throne running problems

hi~
I have some problems that i cant fix…
just before about a week ago~
my laptop was been reformat and there were some repairing actions was taken on my motherboard problems……
before my laptop getting repair,my laptop still can run the WARCRAFT 3:FROZEN THRONE~
now it will just hang at the launching image and will always says something like:

Warcraft 3 was unable to initialize DirectX. Please ensure you have DirectX8.1 or newer installed and that your display drivers are current.DirectX may be found on your Warcraft III install CD under option.

and the next screen is:

Frozen Throne failed to run.
Please make sure your Frozen Throne disc in your CD-ROM drive, then click on 'Retry'.
(but i can still run the it without disc)

Can anyone tell me why its happen and how to solve it~?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Before I put forward my thoughts, can I ask how you've played without the disc. If it was a digital version it wouldn't prompt for a disc...

i mean before my laptop getting repair~
i'm not using a disc to install Warcraft……
i copy the whole warcraft file from my friends pc
after that i paste it in my laptop and i can run it sucessfully~
but now i cant run it just like before my laptop getting repair~
DO YOU KNOW THE SOLUTION TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

Lower the caps buddy. :)

The reason I ask is because the administration of this forum will only provide advice on a legal level. Your situation could be taken two ways, you're using your friends CD key and it's legal or it's been copied to your laptop and therefore an illegal distribution. It's down to the moderators to look at your post and see if advice can be offered :/

I will say this, installation is important.. Use a disc.
