a warm reset is when you push the reset button, and the computer starts up again, without the power going off. A cold reset is where it shuts down and turns off, ie powered down. The difference is that memory etc may hold info in a warm, but probably not in a cold :)

    hello Gulo Luseus :)

thanks for yur input ... i really appreciate and i'm sure u are also expert in yur own way (y).

but how about if theirs no push button? like if the only way is through Telnet.

however, even in Telnet ... i still can't continue to penetrate or go inside the system since it prompts for username and password which i don't know .. are their other ways?

a 3rd party software is okay for me but i don't know even where to start :(.

    hoping for an enlightenment.

    cheers! ;)
