    Hello,
I work in a sub office of my company. My question is; Can my company see my internet activity without actually getting access to my laptop?
They pay for the broadband. Do they just get a bill or can they, like a telephone bill, get an itemised bill with the list of websites? Or, is there any other way they can monitor the activity without my laptop?
    Thanks.

It depends on how the broadband is supplied. If you have a modem and a direct ISP connection, probably not, though they may have some arrangement to do so.

Since they pay for the connection, and you're supposed to be working, I don't see the problem. Just don't go to sites you shouldn't be going to. :)

to second what JW said, I just had to clean a laptop of one of our field supervisors. The only reason he still has a job is that he was a supervisor, and he had the common sense not to plug the thing into the network when he came in, as the thing was infected 9 ways from sunday.

If you are going through a proxy at the home office, yes, they can see what you go to. If you are just on your own with an aircard, probably not, as JW said.

    But they'll know. Trust me.

    I'm one of 'them'. :)
