The last version of OPERA that will work on XP is version 36 (2016), Last version of chrome for XP is version 50 (2016) only browser that is updated is Firefox ESR version and they are suppose to quit later this year. In my opinion Spybot used to be good but doesn't do much now. I have heard of issues with AVG on XP also. I do Know the free version of AVAST will work on XP. What kind of error are you getting?

    I agree with post #2.
Use the Mozilla Firefox ESR browser and the Avast Free Antivirus app.
I can tell you for a fact that both work fine in Windows XP SP3 32-bit.

Did you select the correct 32-bit download link for the English language?
