My web pages in Internet Explorer do not load correctly. Some partially load and sometimes the screen stays blank and a DONE message appears in the lower left hand corner. I recently had a problem with an offer.optimizer and believe this is a result of it. Please help!

    SpywareBlaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
    AdAware SE http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html
    SpyBot S&D http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
    CWShredder http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4086.html

DL them (they are free), install them, check each for their definition updates and then run CWShredder, AdAware and Spybot, fixing anything they say.

Download HiJack This http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html save it to your program files, run it and post a log - DO NOT FIX anything

Thats still a very small log, it could be that you have very little software on the PC, or that something is interdering with the scan.

Go to start, run and type in

    msconfig

click ok, and then click on start-up (top-right tab), what do you have ticked?

Also open IE, go to Tools, Manage Add-Ons, do you have anything selected there?

When I type msconfig the start-up tab is blank and so is the Manage Add-Ons.

It sounds like you just have very little software on the PC, and I mean very little.

You can run hijack this and fix this

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

But I don't think that will make a big difference.

Also Clean browser (In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files, Delete Cookies)

Click Advanced and then restore default, click ok

You could also try unistalling service pack 2 and then reinstalling it, you can uninstall from the add/remove programs

Maybe a startup list will show something.

    1) Open Hijack This.
    2) Click Open the Misc Tools Sections
    3) Click Generate Startup List Log and post here.
