    Hi
Is it possible to get a freeware web design program that will allow
me to create a web site and also to allow a Contact page to be
added using either wysiwyg or htm/html.

I have tried using Front Page 2002 (on a friends pc) but it did not allow
the contact to be initialised (on a free host site) because of none support
    for Front Page Extensions.
We also tried the Tripod (Lycos) who are supposed to support Extensions.

I am very new to this and this is how far I have got
    http://watercoloursneil.250x.com

I have had to remove the contacts because of the above non support

    Hope someone can offer help

    Neil

    Frontpage?! [Forms crucifix with fingers]

Anyway, you can easily add an email link to your page by creating a link in the form of "mailto:youremailaddress". When clicked, it brings up a blank email in their default program with your address already entered in the TO: field.

However, I feel you want a more advanced solution, like a form actually on the page in which you put the email text into. This was very simple to do, but IE6 and other browsers put a stop to this, for some reason. To do this, you'll need to resort to CGI, which is fiendishly complex for beginners. If your host doesn't support FP extensions, I very much doubt it supports CGI either.

    Hope that helps.
