i have a samsung webcam, it used to work, well at first it did not then it did...... now it doenst't again.......... but it is not the webcam..... it is a USB webcam and i think it is conflicting with something in my computer.
i plug it in an dthe bluscreen pops up that an errrror has occured, i got a new printer for christmas and plugged it in (USB) same error, what is the problem, i think it somthign wrong with my *main root hub* in my computer
if you need me to tell you the numbers that pop up on the bluescreen of death, then post it and i will..... i don't feel like crashing it right now,

i built my own machine it is an abit bp6 with a celeron 600 (fcpga) it is using the Powerleap Neo S370 to run the fcpga cpu

Can't you see that you definately have a problem around IRQ 10? Seems you have 3 devices trying to get processor time and they are all fighting over the time. Since you have a PS/2 style mouse, you should be able to go into the BIOS and disable your onboard COM1 & 2 and free up two interrupts for other devices.
I had the same problem with a different cam I looked on there tech support and it said my web cam conflict with other USB stuff so I have to use mine by itself
