i plug it in an dthe bluscreen pops up that an errrror has occured, i got a new printer for christmas and plugged it in (USB) same error, what is the problem, i think it somthign wrong with my *main root hub* in my computer

if you need me to tell you the numbers that pop up on the bluescreen of death, then post it and i will..... i don't feel like crashing it right now,

Hi prez_84, welcome to TSG....

The error messages always help, but go ahead and post a listing of your IRQs.

Start, run, then type msinfo32 and press ok....go to hardware, IRQs, edit, select all, edit, copy and come back and paste.

Do the USB devices plug straight into the computer or into a hub?

Can't you see that you definately have a problem around IRQ 10? Seems you have 3 devices trying to get processor time and they are all fighting over the time. Since you have a PS/2 style mouse, you should be able to go into the BIOS and disable your onboard COM1 & 2 and free up two interrupts for other devices.
