Hello and thanks in advance. I just ran hijack this and found a redirector for webhop. I searched for it and can't really find a definitive answer as to whether
this is malware. I also just installed firefox and was wondering if this could be part of the browser or is this spyware? I try to keep a tight rein on this computer, so there isn't too much on it.
    Thanks again.

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://wer-mit-wem.webhop.net/
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

    Go to Internet Options, Programs
Click the "Reset Web Settings" Button to reset your home and search pages.

I did as you suggested. I have just installed firefox and I wasn't sure how to reset the web settings, or even if there is such a button, or do I need to go back to IE and reset it there? Here is my new log.
    Thanks again.

I don't use foxfire so I'm not sure. You could try resetting with IE and see if that helps.
