I've tried a few windows webservers and have been able to successfully see the web page that i developed from within my LAN.
However - from outside the LAN - I have not been able to see the webpage from a specified machine within the LAN.
I am using a LINKSYS ROUTER, WINDOWS ME...and I tried a few server packages, but all have failed - so its probably not the software, but something subtle or not so subtle.
I have tried turning off the firewall entirely.
I have tried using static id 192.168.1.3 as recommended by LINKSYS...
I have tried used forwarding to PORT 80 to the above referenced computer.

    Any thoughts or suggestions.

    Thanks.
