Is there anyway to hide your IP address from websites that log your IP when you sign in?

only by using an anonymous proxy and many sites will not allow you to sign in using one, they need to know your IP so they can take action if you are naughty on their site

Your IP is your computer's internet "address." When you access a site, what your computer does is request data from that server, the data being the web page. The server then sends the requested data to the "address" (IP) your computer provides. Therefore, every web site "logs" your IP because without that information, it won't know where to send the requested data (web page).

Do a Google search for "anonymous proxy" to learn more about what they are and how to use them...and what the downside of using one is. ;)
