    Hy,
I have something very weird with windows XP pro.
I cannot find how to open port in my modem cable.
first I ve done a forwarding to my local ip. but not open.
after i closed avast antivirus to be sure and the firewall of windows desactivated, but still port closed.
I tryied activate the UnPn, but still closed.:mad:
I really dont understand, even after making exception in the firewall XP wthis the port I want to open, it still seems to be closed.
I use PFPortchecker to look at the ports, and I got a fixed IP.
Someone would have an idea, because I begin to drive me crazy!!!:eek:

I let you this if this can help:

Please do a port scan of the port in question from ShieldsUp and post the exact response here. A screen shot of the results would be best.

To post a screen shot of the active window, hold the Alt key and press the PrtScn key. Open the Windows PAINT application and Paste the screen shot. You can then use PAINT to trim to suit, and save it as a JPG format file. To upload it to TSG, open the full reply window and use the Manage Attachments button to upload it here.

What specific port were you trying to test? If it wasn't in the range of 0-1055, you need to so a custom port specification to get a test.

So you forwarded in the modem/router to your computer's static IP?
For what application/program are you trying to forward for?

Is the DPR2320R2 the only external device you are using for Internet?
And all help is supposed to remain on the forum.

Can you post a screenshot of the page that you forwarded in the router?
