Upon opening Google Chrome, I get a blank white page with the message, "It works!" in the top left corner. This happens regardless of what homepage I set and doesn't happen in other browsers. I can navigate away from the page, so it doesn't prevent me from using the web, but it's just kinda weird and concerning. Help?

My homepage URL. No matter what site I set as my homepage, it displays that site's normal URL but I get the same white page.

Try incognito mode and see if you get the same result.

Also look in your extensions for any extensions that you didn't put in there. As a test you can disable all of them and restart Chrome to see if that helps.

It doesn't happen in incognito mode. I only have a few extensions and they seem pretty trustworthy, nothing unexpected.

I would suggest to disable all of them (basically 'safe mode') and see if it works.

Tried disabling all of them and the problem still occurs.

Try a reset: Go to Options > Advanced > Reset.

Uninstall Chrome and download the lasest from https://google.com/chrome and see if you get the same issue. Other than that, I have no idea
