I dunno what's up with my computer. I think it was two to three days ago it happened. I was downloading some stuff from BitTorrent [which usually doesn't give me any problems like viruses, spywares, etc] and my friend asked me to play Warcraft with him. So I told him to hold on and I shut everything off and restarted my computer. After I restarted, it just kept on restarting and would not even reach the Welcome screen. It would just reach to the black screen after it tells you what kind of OS brand you have [example: I have a Compaq and it would just show Compaq -> black screen] then it restarts repeatedly. It would not stop restarting unless I shut the power down. So I asked my friend for help and he said I would need to put it in safe mode, which I did not have. So he suggested to dl a program to boot my computer, except it needed an A drive, which I did not have. So I decided to try to reformat my computer and after I reformatted my computer, the restarting stopped and everything was working normally.

Except today, I tried to Install/Download all the programs I had on my computer.
Programs Installed/Downloaded: Firefox, MSN, AIM, Stealthbot, Ventrilo, Warcraft III: ROC, Steam, Banlist, Itunes, and Logitech Camera.
When I got to the part where I was installing Warcraft III: TFT, it gave me various results:
    1) stuck at c:\program files\warcraft III\war3.mpq
    2) no disc in Drive E [which there was]
    3) Warcraft III: ROC was not installed [which was]

If you guys know what's wrong with it or any suggestion at all on how to fix this problem of mine, please comment. If you need more info, please ask. And if you have no idea what I was trying to explain [it happens 'cause I tend to confuse people more when I try to explain things at times], then ask and I'd try to explain it in another way. Thanks.

    Welcome to TSG....

If you are using a network like BitTorrent there is not much we can do here these networks are notorious for all sorts of problems including virus, spyware and other infections. The first thing I would suggest is un-installing BitTorrent and then running a HijackThis and I can not guarantee that the HJT experts will work on it.

    Tech Support Guy Site Rules
    http://www.techguy.org/rules.html

To download HJTsetup.exe To Download HijackThis go to the following: http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item5
    Filename = 1137518044HJTsetup.exe

Save the file to your desktop.
Double click on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\HijackThis.
Continue to click Next in the setup dialog boxes until you get to the Select Additional Tasks dialog.
Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
At the final dialog box click Finish and it will launch Hijack This.
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
At the top of the Notepad HJT log screen, hit Edit then Select All then click Edit and then click Copy doing that copies the text to the clipboard, you won't see it yet....
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply. DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

A security expert should take a look at your log - please be patient.

Well, I reformatted my computer already because I could not even reach the Welcome screen after I restarted my computer. Do I still need to DL that ? Well, I did it anyways.

I would and post the lg file just to find out what is wrong because if you re-installed after and re-format and it is not running right this is one way to find out if there is anything wrong.

Lol, yeah I figured that was the best thing to do. It took me awhile 'cause for some reason, this problem has slowed down my computer too and I believe I have 1016 MB RAMS, which is more than enough now.

I am not certified to read HJT log files so I leave that up to the experts with the little gold shield to the right of their names, but if I am not mistaken I see you are running Norton anti-virus and also AVG anti-virus to if these are both active this is not a good thing.

Also you say you just formatted this computer this morning and if you did you sure got a long log file. I do not see any P2P networks in here but I am sure if a HJT expert diagnoses the log file they will find something.

Lol, well the NAV was automatically installed on my comp already. And the AVG, well, my friend recommended it to me and told me to download that one instead. But, I doubt it's NAV and AVG's fault because before when I only had NAV, it didn't work and back then, it worked with NAV enabled.

Well, about the long log file.. I remembered clearly what kind of files/programs I had on my computer before reformat. I did it last night and just shut downed it since my internet didn't work. So, I fixed my internet this afternoon and installed/downloaded everything today around 4 pm. I've been trying to install Warcraft III: TFT for hours and I finally decided to ask my friends for help and one of them recommended this site to me, so I decided to ask the experts for help xD. Hmm... I still haven't tried to install WoW: BC yet since I just focused all my time today on installing Warcraft.

And I also noticed on my log file that most of them were "C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop" etc.

My problem now is just #1 and 3. Every time I try to install TFT, it just stops at c:\program files\warcraft III\war3.mpq. I am unable to cancel it and the only way to cancel it is by ending its process on task manager.
