I have an issue that I saw for the first time ever. I was working on this lady's machine cleaning it up when I went to open her My Computer and then I right clicked on the C:drive to see the properties. Most context menu's have:

    Open
    Explore
    Search

and a few others in her list but what I saw was some foreign looking characters where the Open should be, like Ascii code or Arabic or something like this:

    aaijjiaaaiiija (but more accentuated)
    Explore
    Search
    etc....

I will try to provide a screenshot if needed and I can get to the pc again, But I was wondering if anyone have every seen that before and is it fixable without reinstalling windows?

    thanks

Open regedit and navigate to the following keys:

    HKCR\Drive\Shell\
    HKCR\Folder\Shell\
    HKCR\Drive\ShellEx\ContextMenuHandlers\
    HKCR\Folder\ShellEx\ContextMenuHandlers\

Check each to see if there are any strange entries listed.
