I've been having trouble with the "Welcome" screen on my computer for a while now. The "Switch Users" option doesn't work properly, for one. I have "Fast User Switching" on. I try and switch users, but when I choose another account, it shows the default wallpaper for the computer, then the "Welcome" screen without any text or pictures for a second or two, then it goes back to the "Welcome" screen. Is there any way of fixing this?

Also, the default wallpaper and screensaver (on the Logon screen) have been set to a specific user account. Is there a way to change which user account specifies the default settings?

Should put this down. The OS I'm using is XP Home.

Settings for User Accounts and welcome screen are under "User Accounts" in the control panel.

It's not a problem that can be fixed by going to user accounts and messing with options. I choose "Switch Users" on the "Logoff" screen, it takes me to the User Select screen, then when I choose a different user account, it'll show the background of the user currently logged on, then the "Welcome" screen background, then the User Select screen again.
