Western Digital data config cd DLGDIAG command not working

    Im using the western digital bootable cd for the hardrive testing and it comes up with a screen with a\>and you can type stuff after that. I read your supposed to type dlgdiag and press enter but it says command not reconized. Help please.

    Is the copy of the WDDiags you have made for your model of hard drive? The versions are not all the same for all hard drives. The current one boots directly to a GUI for running diags.

    type dir at the prompt and hit enter.
    It will list the availabe files.
    The items that can be run by command will
    end with .exe or .bat usually.
    You don't have to type the .exe or .bat to run the command,
    just the file name.
    Is there some reason you are not using the version with
    the graphical user interface?

    I did get the right version and i ran them all and the one i was supposed to run(dlgdiag) was dlgdiag5 lol. Anyways same thing comes up. No drivers found error0120 so basically my hd is corrupt i think.
