Hi All

Just a real quick question.

I have Adaware se personal installed and I like it because you just run it when you need to and it does not install any services that are always sat there sucking up resources.

So are there any other anti spyware programs you can recommend that work in the same way i.e do not actually run in the background all the time.

Thanks

Andy

Spybot by default and Ewido if you choose not to "Install background guard"

Thanks very much.

I will take a look at those.

Microsoft's "Antispyware beta." This is free for those with a "ligit" MS installation. Disable "Real Time Protection." It seems to me, however, that you should utilize at least one utility that runs in the background at all times. Why let a 'bad guy' infect when it could be avoided?
