I have noticed on C: that I have a string of AUTOEXEC. AV; AUTOEXEC.001; AUTOEXEC.002 etc to .008. What are they and do I need them? Thanks.

    Dear BIG :
Please provide your computer's brand, model and model #.

When did the computer last work well? What changed; installation or removal of hardware or software; a W7 update; an update to an anti virus or other anti malware program; an update to a different program?

Is the path to the file c:\autoexec.av ? If not please provide the path.
RIGHT click on the file. Left click properties.
    Left click the "version" tab.
    Please provide the creation date.
