My Hard disk died, and I had 2 programs living on my desktop which don't show up on my Ghost backup disk, and I can't remember their names. Can anyone help me remember their names so I can search for them on the internet?

The first program lets you mod down your privileges when you're running mail & browser programs, so that if you stumble into malware it can't run as administrator.

The second program reformats email by removing '>'s and 'nl's so it doesn't look so awful when you forward it.

That's the problem with icons - you use them so much you don't have to remember the names of useful programs. :(

Well, I'm confused. A GHOST backup whould be an exact image, stuff doesn't "disappear" from the image.

Thanks to all who gave me the names of programs to clean up email.

Prodded by John Will, I mucked further through the Ghost backup and found the other program I was looking for - it's "DropMyRights.exe" from Microsoft.

    Thanks.
