    Start - run - cmd

    ipconfig /all

    or if I don't remember - winipcfg

    i do it automatically in tcp/ip properties.

    You need to give more detail about what you said

    ipconfig/winipcfg is the normal method - besides the prob was resolved 20 mins ago :(

    sorry but seeing what the ip address is, is different than how the ip address is obtained, which is what the post asked. :confused:
