I believe my HP has a second drive that's not in use. How can I know whether I can or cannot install a DVD burner, etc.? I'd like to do that.

Also, how easy is it to do this? Thanks.

You need an open connector on the ide cable and a open space to physically mount the drive , , the HP support siet likely has help on replaceing parts

If this is a desktop with standard sized drive bays, it should be a piece of cake. :)
