Those options are to help with running older programs in Windows 10.

As to the emulator, this is a grey area which still doesn't have a ruling if it's legal or not so this something that we cannot assist at this time.

Hello Mister James!
Welcome!
&
Thank you for taking the time to answer my humble request.
I understand that you do not wish to comment on the RPCS3, and I totally respect that.

When it comes down to my question 1.

How do you use all of these options mentioned in properties>compatibilities???

Is there anywhere on the internet where everything under compatibilities has been explained???

I knew that it is used to play old programs, but the question is how???

Thanks.
Have a great evening,
Victor

Well for example if you have a game that you know that ran in Windows 7 but it will not run in Windows 10, then you would check the box and select Windows 7 in the drop down.

If you know that the game won't run higher than the current resolution, then you can change that too.

Using the Compatibility Troubleshooter will help with most of the settings and I would recommend that.

This is just to confirm that indeed for games we don't support the use of emulators, as already stated by Couriant.

Yes, that's my dear, sweet dog Brandy. He's going on 15 years old. Thanks for the compliment. I'll tell him you said that. :)

You should be able to google the wording that you are looking at, for example Windows Compatibility Mode. I added site:microsoft.com so it should search microsoft.com's site only
