So after reinstalling windows I have lost some obvious drivers like sound and my laptops touchpad. I found the sound and touchpad drivers, but where can I find a list of the drivers that came preinstalled on my laptop? So I am not missing any needed ones.

    Thank You

The manufacturer of the laptop should have all the drivers and software posted on their website. Whats the make and model of the laptop?

I visited the site but I couldnt find a full list of the drivers that were preinstalled. It has all the drivers, but I dont know which ones I actually really need and which ones are useless.

Does your laptop have a sticker on it with a Service Tag number on it? If so use that number at the Dell site and it will tell you what equipment you have and from that yo can tell what drivers you will need.

You need pretty much all of them. There are some doubles and some for variations but many of them you do need, some are updates as well.
