    I have an IBM Thinkpad 650X with a 2000nt professonal and when l turn off my computer, sorry l have AOL instead of saying "good bye" it says "gooooooooood byeeeeeee" and today while surfing l heard "USA" real loud.

    Please advise

    Sounds like you may have some malware, post a HijackThis log.

    The log looks fine

    AOL can get clogged and on one occasion I have to remove all of AOL and reinstall

    Before doing that

    DownLoad EasyCleaner http://www.majorgeeks.com/download414.html

    Use the clear files and Unnecessary files buttons – I do not recommend
    using the Duplicates files button
    as many dupes are there on purpose.

    Not all files will delete – that is normal.

    In the unnecessary button I check the top 4 entries

    Empty the trash and do a defrag
