If I receive an email with an attachment.
I open it and change it.
I want to save it and I hit 'Save As".
When it defaults to OLK21 folder
documents and settings/cynthia/local settings/temporaryinternetfiles/olk21.

I then go to temporary internet files and there is
not a folder called OLK21 under it.

but if i Save As I see all these documents I have saved
but I can not retreive them. I have searched for the folder,

I have gone into Explore
I have gone into C: and opened up each folder until the end
and there is No OLK21, but i see many files in there.
How can I get them. These are good documents I have
designed and saved and it defaulted there.

thx

Hi, Cyn.

Open explorer.
Tools-Folder options.
View tab.
Make sure you're viewing HIDDEN and SYSTEM files and look for it again.

I never save my files there. I always just save them to the desktop.

I went there in Tools and 'show hidden files' is checked.
I went back to Explorer and it is still not showing.

any other ideas?

Seems you are right. (Of course you are.)
So, I right-clicked one of those docs and hit OPEN WITH and chose Microsoft Word, and it opened right up. You could likely save it from there.

The txt files are probably emails you opened that were in a different format than yours. I wouldn't worry about it. Just never open a file and save it there...
